It was the last Thin Lizzy album to feature guitarist Brian Robertson, who left the band shortly after its release. Everybody after that kind of knew there was a guide that they had to adhere to. It was recorded in London in 1976, and Philadelphia and Toronto in 1977, with further production in Paris. Brian and I together started our dual-guitar harmony thing together. While Lizzy's Live And Dangerous, released in 1978, remains one of the greatest live albums of all time, it's no secret that there were substantial studio overdubs thus tarnishing that 'live' feel.
